Old £10 no longer legal tender after 1st March

Monday, February 12 2018

After 1st March 2018, the old £10 note will no longer be legal tender, and as such, will not be accepted on board any of our services or in our travel shops from this date. Only the new £10 polymer notes will be accepted as payment.

Check your purse or wallet to try and spend any old £10 notes before the decirculation date. If you have any after this date, you can exchange them at your local bank or post office.

Don't forget: we also accept contactless payments on-board so you can leave your cash in the piggybank.

Thank you for your co-operation.
