The concessionary fare scheme is a great deal for those over sixty and some people with disabilities. It allows free travel all over England, including more and Damory..

Once you have got your pass you can jump on and off buses as much as you like – a quick pop to the shops or a day out on the coast or through the New Forest. Most areas have time restrictions and these can vary from area to area.

 

Bournemouth residents

 

If you are a permanent resident of Bournemouth and are eligible, you can apply for a pass. 
Passes are valid between 0930 and 2300 on weekdays AND all day on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
 

Poole residents

 

If you are a permanent resident of Poole and are eligible, you can apply for a pass.
Passes are valid between 0930 and 2300 on weekdays AND all day on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
 

Dorset residents

 

Passes valid between 0930 and 2300 on weekdays AND all day on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
 

Wiltshire residents

 

Bus passes issued by Wiltshire Council allow free travel after 0930  on bus services in Wiltshire. Also on certain infrequent bus services it can be used from an earlier time than 0930 - to find out which services these are click here They can also be used to travel outside Wiltshire between 0930 and 2300 on weekdays and at any time at weekends. Sadly, concessionary passes are not valid on the Stonehenge Tour and New Forest Tour. 

 

New Forest & Test Valley residents

 

If you live in New Forest District Council or Test Valley Borough Council areas, and are aged 60 years or over or registered disabled, you are entitled to a Concessionary Bus Pass. This allows free travel on local buses throughout England from 0930 until 2330, Monday to Friday, and all day at weekends and on Bank Holidays from Hampshire County Council.
 
If a community has a bus between 9am and 9.29am and no further departure before 10.31, older persons passes will be valid on that specific service. This includes the X7 0919 West Wellow Canada Conrer towards Ower and Southampton and the 37 0900 service from Lockerly Green to West Dean.
