6th June
Christchurch Town Council is putting on an event to mark the 80th anniversary of the historic D-Day landings.
This FREE event is a meaningful, respectful, fun and educational celebration, focused on bringing the town together, honouring the bravery and sacrifices made by those who served during World War II.
Go along with your family and a picnic blanket and enjoy the summers evening and refreshments available from several food vendors and the boat house.
The schedule includes a town criers proclamation, performances by local choirs and banks, stalls, a beacon lighting and more.
Travel by bus to this special event for just £2 and help to ease congestion in the local area.
