Diversions due to Poole Road closure from Monday 25 May

From late evening on Monday 25 May for around 9 weeks, Poole Road will be closed from Branksome Station for a gas main replacement. Buses towards Bournemouth/Westbourne will be affected. Poole Road will be open towards Branksome roundabout so most buses heading that way can continue to run as normal.
Cromer Road will be closed in both directions so 16s towards Poole will need to divert. Some afternoon school buses will also be affected.

| m1/m2/N1/N2 | m1/N1 buses will serve Richmond road as usual then divert via Salisbury Road, St John's Church, Penn Hill and Lindsay Road before rejoining the normal route at the LV roundabout. m2/N2 buses will divert via Richmond Road, Penn Hill and Lindsay Road before rejoining the normal route at the LV roundabout. Buses will serve all stops along the diversion. The following stops will be missed towards Bournemouth only:
Customers wishing to travel to Loch Road, Tennyson Buildings or Branksome Roundabout should change at St John's Church onto the 18. Please note, this route runs a daytime service only. |
| 16 | Towards Bournemouth, buses will divert via Guest Avenue, Yarmouth Road, Surrey Road and Queens Road before rejoining the normal route. Buses will NOT serve Westbourne in this direction. Towards Poole, buses will divert via Alder Road, Yarmouth Road and Guest Avenue before rejoining the normal route. Buses will serve all stops along the diversion. | 415 (afternoon only) | Buses will divert from Branksome roundabout via Bournemouth Road, Penn Hill Avenue and Lindsay Road before rejoining the normal route from County Gates. |
| 416/449 (afternoon only) | Buses will divert from St Dunstan's Church via St Osmund's Road and will then follow the usual morning route, dropping off at the stops used to pick up but on the opposite side of the road. |
| 736 (afternoon only) | Buses will divert from Alder Road via Ashley Road, Richmond Road , St Osmund's Road and Penn Hill Avenue before rejoining the normal route at Canford Cliffs Road (Penn Hill Corner). |
