Bride on a bus!

Local bride Lauren could have chosen any method of travel to get her to the registry office on time - and public transport wouldn’t necessarily be right at the top of everyone’s list.

 But, rather than the more travelled path of choosing a vintage Rolls Royce or a horse and carriage, Lauren opted to take the bus to take her from her home in Poole to Bournemouth Square instead.

 "Lots of people had opinions on how I should travel to the registry office but I decided to do it my way,” said Lauren. “I boarded the M1 in my wedding dress, with my mum and four bridesmaids in tow.

 “I did mention it to Morebus in advance, and they were great - even decorating the front of the bus with a ribbon for my special day. I’d like to thank them for their support. It turned out to be the perfect way to travel - and a wonderful memory we will have for many years to come.”

We are so pleased to have been able to accommodate Lauren and her family for this fantastic occasion. 

 In fact, a little biased perhaps, but we think it’s an excellent idea to travel to a wedding by bus. Our new buses are convenient, comfortable and kinder to the environment. A great way to travel to such an important event.

 We wish Lauren and her new husband, Ben, many years of happiness. And we hope to welcome them both on-board very soon.
