morebus is celebrating Catch the Bus Month 2022

This September is catch the bus month and you can make a difference by catching the bus to work, for leisure or school/college at least once a week improving local air quality reducing congestion and providing you to other communities across the local area.

One of the most sustainable forms of transport, a double-decker bus can take up to 75 cars off the road and switching just 1 journey in 25 to the bus would save 2 million tonnes of CO2 emissions. Buses also reduce social isolation and improve health and wellbeing.

Over the last five years we have invested into our fleet of buses, with new single and double decker buses now out on the local roads, with all new buses including next stop announcements, USB charging on board and they are a whole load greener, making bus travel easy and environmentally friendly for all ages.

One fully loaded double decker bus can take 75 cars off the road and if everyone switched just one car journey a month to the bus, there would be one billion fewer car journeys on our roads, and a saving of 2 million tonnes of CO2.
