Changes to Route ONE from the 1st of April image

Due to the seasonal closure of part of Poole Quay to vehicles, from 1st April Route ONE will have a route change. This will allow for pedestrian and cyclist prioritisation for the summer period.

After the Orchard Plaza stop, the bus will turn left into Castle Street, left again into Strand Street, and right into Old Orchard to resume the normal route. During the diversion, the following stops will not be served:

  • Poole Museum
  • The Portsmouth Hoy
  • Lord Nelson

Route ONE will additionally serve the Dolphin Quays stop for passengers to alight for the middle part of the Quay.

Please see below for the changes to the route. The revised route is shown in green and will be the route used at all times throughout the quay closure.
