Christmas and New Year Bus Times

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and we want to make sure you make the most of the festive period! To help you plan your days out, get to work or go out with friends safely, here is a summary of how our services will be running over Christmas and New Year.

A Saturday service will run on most routes with some extra morning journeys on the 5, 8, 9, 13, 14, 16 & 17 (details below*). However, the following routes will run normal Friday timetables - X1, X2, X3, X6, X8, 23, 24, 38, 119, 125, 191, 193, Ringo and Cango. |
| Saturday 25th December - Christmas Day |
Only the m1 and m2 will run on Christmas Day - extended to Christchurch and Royal Bournemouth Hospital with special timetables. Special fares apply**. Please note: Buses will not serve Hamblin Way, so instead, please use Stop B on Castle Lane West outside the Library for travel to RBH and Stop A on Castle Lane West for Bournemouth/Poole. |
| Sunday 26th December - Boxing Day | Sunday service on routes 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 13, 14, 16, 17, 40, X3 & X8, with a Special service on routes m1 & m2 as well as the Breezer 50. No other routes will run. |
| Monday 27th December | Sunday service on all routes. |
| Tuesday 28th December | Sunday service on all routes. |

| Friday 31st December - New Year’s Eve |
A Saturday service will run on most routes with some extra morning journeys on the 5, 8, 9, 13, 14, 16 & 17 (details below*). However, the following routes will run Friday timetables - X1, X2, X3, X6, X8, 23, 24, 38, 119, 125, 191, 193, Ringo and Cango. |
| Saturday 1st January - New Year’s Day | Sunday service on routes 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 13, 14, 16, 17, 40, X3 & X8, with a Special service on routes m1 & m2 as well as the Breezer 50. No other routes will run. |
| Sunday 2nd January | Normal Sunday service. |
| Monday 3rd January | Sunday service on all routes. |
| Tuesday 4th January | Normal timetables resume. |
Customer Services and Poole Bus Station travel shop will be closed between 25th and 28th December and again between 1st January and 3rd January. They will both close at 1pm on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
