February half term by bus
Stuck for ideas to keep the kids entertained this half term? Look no further, bus travel doesn't cost a lot, and we've put together a few ideas for you...
- Hop on the Breezer 40 and get off at Cat's Eye Cottage for a short walk to the Blue Pool and join them for a spectacular light event to celebrate their 90 year anniversary. Enjoy over 1km of illuminated light trails, the UK's longest rope bridge and more!
- Make a trip to the beach this half term for a leisurely walk and some fresh air. Whether you visit Sandbanks on the Breezers 50 & 60, head to Alum Chine on the Breezer 70 or just hop off the bus in Bournemouth Town Centre and you'll be just a short walk from the seafront.
- Last chance to visit the Cool Coast Ice Rink inside the Bournemouth International Centre before it closes for the season. Get your skates on and enjoy a fun-filled ice skating experience, regardless of the weather. Get on any bus that serves Bournemouth Town Centre.
- Kids (5-15) can ride the Swanage Railway for free with a paying adult this half term! Jump on the Breezer 40 or 50 for a picturesque ride before connecting at Swanage Rail Station.
- Catch the 26 from Poole to Tower Park for a whole range of entertainment, from soft play at Lemur Landings, to scoring strikes at the Hollywood Bowl. Plus there are several places to have food and drink after a day of fun.
- Visit Bournemouth Oceanarium - there's so much to 'sea' and explore, no matter the weather. Many of our buses stop in Bournemouth Square which is a short walk away through the gardens or the 1a, 1b, 1c, 5, 5a, 6, 6a, 12 and 22 stop at the closest Bournemouth Pier stop.
Plan your bus journey today on our handy app. You can also buy tickets and track our buses here too. If you're travelling in a group of up to 5 people, our group tickets may offer you the best value. On top of this, up to two kids under 7 can travel for free with a paying adult!
