Purrfect outcome for Paula's cat rescue

Helping cats needing a home
A local cat rescue centre has received a welcome boost - thanks to a donation from our Morebus’ community fund.
Founded by Paula Pelosi, 4 years ago, Paula’s Cat Rescue in Poole has a dozen volunteers, involved in various ways in helping to look after and re-home cats and kittens.
“We are an entirely voluntary not-for-profit rescue, and are solely reliant on adoption fees, donations, sponsorship and fundraising to cover our total expenditure,” said Paula Pelosi
“With this in mind, we contacted Morebus through its online community fund portal, to see if we could get a donation and a monthly bus pass as a raffle prize for our Christmas fare, that is being held on Saturday 18 November. We were delighted to receive a ‘yes’. The whole team here - including our cats - would like to thank Morebus for its generosity.”
Paula’s Cat Rescue is exactly the sort of local group we look to help through our community fund. We want to support as many charities and organisations across our area as possible, and this is a very worthy cause. It was lovely to meet the beautiful cats currently being looked after here, and we hope they all find wonderful new homes very soon. The cats aren't the only charity we have helped this time around. Check our website and social media channels again soon to find out who else has benefitted from our community fund.
