Route and Timetable Changes

27th May 2023 onwards

Route 1 is renumbered 1c and extended beyond Christchurch via either Hunt Road (to replace the this part of the 23 which is withdrawn) or Mudeford (current X1 routing of Mudeford Lane, Avon Beach Approach & De Havilland Way). Buses will go outbound via Hunt Road returning via Mudeford and vice versa, therefore offering customers better connections. Route 1b will be extended beyond Christchurch to Burton via Purewell Cross every 30 minutes in the daytime. Evening journeys on 1b & 1c will continue to terminate at Two Riversmeet. X1/X2 have a revised route from Hoburne Lane via Somerford Sainsburys and Somerford Road direct to Christchurch. Rerouted via St Swithuns Road instead of Holdenhurst Road to Lansdowne, with the pick up now being in Christchurch Road. Customers in Mudeford should use the new 1c route. Route 24 is rerouted to run between Christchurch Two Riversmeet, Marsh Lane, St Catherines Hill, River Way, Iford & Royal Bournemouth Hospital to Castlepoint.
