Our night buses are back!
Great news - nights are about to get more exciting!
Our night buses are back, better than ever, every Friday and Saturday night from Friday 20 September. Whether you're an early bird or a night owl, we've got you covered.
You may remember that we ran a consultation earlier this year and these routes are based on the feedback provided by the majority of you. It was interesting to learn that there were many different reasons for you needing a night service, be that to get to and from work, make early or late travel connections to trains and coaches, or just a good old fashioned night out with friends and family.
We are offering three different routes, at just £2 per trip whilst the £2 fare cap is in place. If you travel regularly you can also use your period passes on the app or tap on tap off weekly capping too. See below for details:
N1 - This route will follow the m1 route between Poole and Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
N2 - This route will follow the m2 route as far as Southbourne and then extend to Tuckton, Barrack Road, Christchurch and Two Riversmeet.
Introducing the N5 - This route, new for 2024, will follow the 5/5a route as far as the Ensbury Park gyratory following this route:
Bournemouth > Bournemouth Station > Charminster > Alma Road > Winton > Ensbury Park Road > Boundary Road > BU Talbot Campus
You can catch the N1 and N2 from stand O in Poole Bus Station (that's the end near our travel shop) and in Gervis Place the N1 will go from bus stop P towards Castlepoint and Royal Bournemouth Hospital and the N2 will go from bus stop O towards Christchurch. The N1 and N2 towards Westbourne, Parkstone and Poole will go from bus stop V.
The N5 will go from bus stop R in Gervis Place.
We have put together a route map to show you where these routes will go:
For late nights and early starts, choose the bus for just a £2 single fare. We look forward to welcoming you on board.
We recommend you download the morebus app to buy tickets, plan your journey and track our buses in live times.
