FARES

There are several options for school bus fares.  You can pay as you go with cash or a contactless debit card or you can buy termly passes on the app.  As the school has recently banned year 7 students from having access to smartphones, we have changed the fare structure for pay as you go (Tap On, Tap Off) fares so that you won’t pay any more than a student who buys a termly pass.

Fare Zone A area

Pay as you go

Single £3.40 via cash or contactless debit card

Return £5.80 via cash or contactless debit card

Pay as you go tap on tap off capped fares

Dayrider £5.80 - this includes all other services in the morebus zone A area which can be used before/after school.

Weekly £29 – again this includes all other services in the morebus zone A area which can be used evenings and weekends.

Termly passes: via smartphone morebus app

Spring half term 1 - £169.60

Spring half term 2 - £141.40

Spring full term - £311

Fare Zone AB area

Pay as you go: via contactless debit card

Single £4.00 via cash or contactless debit card

Return £6.60 via cash or contactless debit card

Pay as you go tap on tap off capped fares

Dayrider £6.60 - this includes all other morebus services in zone A and AB

Weekly £33 – again this includes all other more bus services in zone A and AB area which can be used evenings and weekends.
