Work to enhance Poole Bus Station has begun!

We are working alongside BCP Council, using money from the Government's Bus Service Improvement Plan, to help deliver a host of improvements to Poole Bus Station throughout 2026/27.

Works will include: redecoration and improved flooring, lighting, signage and seating. This builds on earlier investment in electronic information displays with CCTV at each bus stand and Transport Safety Officers are employed to regularly patrol the area.

Work is already underway on the unused tarmac area between Seldown Car Park and the bus station, to turn the area into a greener, more welcoming space for everyone to use.

Future plans include a garden space, sheltered seating, murals, improved access, cycle facilities, better connections, wildlife-friendly planting and new fencing.
