Children and young persons tickets
Any bus fare-paying customer or bus pass holder (including ENCTS) can take up to two children with them under the age of 7 for free. Any additional children travelling on our buses will be charged the normal child bus fare (regardless of whether they are under 7 or over).
Child bus fares are available until your 19th birthday. After which, you will be charged adult fares. Many young customers look very grown up and our drivers may question your age. We recommend that ID is carried so that your age can be verified otherwise you may be charged an adult bus fare.
If you’re going to use a number of our buses in the same day our unlimited-day tickets are ideal. These can be brought via our app or driver (day tickets only). To use the app the child will have to pass the verification process which is quick and easy to do.

Travel to school or college by bus?
We operate a number of dedicated school and college bus routes. If you travel to school using a dedicated school bus route, you will need to buy a Scholars Pass from our website and then gift the ticket to your child's app.
If you travel to school by bus, you may get your bus pass provided by your local education authority (LEA). The rules on this are quite complex and can vary in different areas. For full information, contact your LEA – morebus do not provide free school bus passes.
We work with the following LEAs:
We also work with the following colleges for those over 16:
If your LEA or college can’t help you, we offer a range of point-to-point term tickets. For details visit our travel shop in Poole bus station, call 01202 338420 or visit our school bus pass site to buy your scholars bus pass online.
