Christmas and New Year Bus Times 2025

Over the Christmas and New Year period, our buses will be running slightly differently. Whether you're visiting family, hitting the boxing day sales or heading out to celebrate the New Year, make sure you carefully check the details and timetables below.

| Christmas Eve - Wednesday 24 December | Saturday service* on all routes except 18, 24, 33, 38, 119, 120, 125, 191, 193, 737, X1, X2, X3, X6, X8, Ringo and Damory routes 1, 2, 6, CR7, CR8, CR9 and 20 which will run to their normal Wednesday timetables. Extra morning journeys will run on the 1a, 8, 13, 14, 16, 17 and 22. m1 and m2 will have a reduced evening service. The 00:10 journey on the 1a will not run. N1, N2 and N5 will run as normal on the night of the 23rd December into the 24th December but will not run on the night of 24th December into the 25th December. |
| Christmas Day - Thursday 25 December | Only the m1, m2 and 5 will run with special timetables. |
| Boxing Day - Friday 26 December | Special timetables will run on the m1, m2, 40 and 50. Sunday timetables will run on the 1a, 1b, 1c, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 ,9, 11, 12 ,13, 13a, 14, 16, 17, 21, 22, 25, 26, X3 and X8. N1, N2 and N5 will not run on the night of the 25th December into the 26th December but will run as normal on the night of 26th December into the 27th December. | Saturday 27 December | Normal Saturday service on all routes. |
| Sunday 28 December | Normal Sunday service on all routes. |
| Monday 29 December | Saturday service* on all routes except 18, 24, 33, 38, 119, 120, 125, 191, 193, 737, X1, X2, X3, X6, X8, Ringo and Damory routes 1, 2, 6, CR7, CR8, CR9 and 20 which will run to their normal Monday timetables. Some earlier journeys will be added on routes 1a, 8, 13, 14, 16, 17 and 22. |
| Tuesday 30 December | Saturday service* on all routes except 18, 24, 33, 38, 112, 119, 120, 191, 193, 737, X1, X2, X3, X6, X8, Ringo and Damory routes 1, 2, 6, CR7, CR8, CR9 and 20 which will run to their normal Tuesday timetables. Some earlier journeys will be added on routes 1a, 8, 13, 14, 16, 17 and 22. |
| New Year's Eve - Wednesday 31 December | Saturday service* on all routes except 18, 24, 33, 38, 119, 120, 125, 191, 193, 737, X1, X2, X3, X6, X8, Ringo and Damory routes 1, 2, 6, CR7, CR8, CR9 and 20 which will run to their normal Wednesday timetables. Some earlier journeys will be added on routes 1a, 8, 13, 14, 16, 17 and 22. |
| New Year's Day - Thursday 1 January | Special timetables will run on the m1, m2, 40 and 50. Sunday timetables will run on the 1a, 1b, 1c, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 ,9, 11, 12 ,13, 13a, 14, 16, 17, 21, 22, 25, 26, X3 and X8. Some earlier journeys will be added on routes 1a, 8, 13, 14, 16, 17 and 22. |
| Saturday 3 January | Normal service resumes. |
*Saturday service but concessionary passes are not accepted for travel before 09:30.
