New buses on order

We're investing £7.7 million in new fleet of double decker buses for Bournemouth and Poole
We have 28 brand new double decker buses on order to serve the area this summer - thanks to a £7.7 million investment by ourselves.
This follows our recent route expansion in 2022, with the introduction of 10 new services serving Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.
The new buses will be British built and will be E400 MMC's with Euro 6 low emissions engine - the cleanest standard for diesel. As well as having start stop technology so don't worry if the bus goes quiet at a junction or bus stop.
They are built to be far kinder to the environment, these new buses are very similar to our new fleet of Unibus vehicles - but with new seat, cloth and floor design.
Our new fleet of ADL Enviro 400 double decker buses will initially serve our m1 route between Poole, Bournemouth and Royal Bournemouth Hospital. The m1 is currently operated with single decker buses, so our customers will enjoy an increase in seating capacity along this route. As well as additional views from the top deck.
The new buses will also run on our 5/5A Bournemouth to Kinson service.
The aim is to make sustainable transport a more attractive proposition, in order to entice people out of their cars. One full double decker bus can take up to 75 cars off the road - and this latest investment is a huge step in that direction.
