PURBECK BREEZER 50
Bournemouth to Swanage via West Cliff, Westbourne, Sandbanks, Shell Bay, Studland
Summer timetable from 25th May 2024
Bournemouth
The seaside town with something for everyone, enjoy the stunning beach, take a zip line down from the pier, a gentle stroll through the gardens, a game of crazy golf or catch up on a movie at BH2. From sunny days to rainy days there is never a shortage of entertainment. The Purbeck Breezer 50 is also easy to connect to rail services as it goes from just outside Bournemouth Railway Station.
Sandbanks
Known for its golden sands and luxurious homes, Sandbanks has beach fun for all the family, from beach huts, ice cream kiosks to kite surfing and paddle boarding – one of the best beaches in England. Then continue the bus journey onto Studland where the bus actually goes on a boat!
Studland
Studland village is steeped in history of smugglers – take a look around the ancient church, enjoy a cream tea in the local pub before heading up the cliff-top foot path to the famous Old Harry Rocks. For the more carefree, Studland is home to Dorset’s nudist beach. Studland beaches are owned and look after by the National Trust. Don’t forget to cover back up before hopping back on board!
Swanage
Still has that traditional seaside feel, where Punch and Judy can be watched on the beach, sandcastles dug, and sun loungers hired. Experience a trip on the traditional steam railway, or take a walk up to Durlston Country Park and continue exploring the Isle of Purbeck. We also think there are some of the best local fish and chip shops around.
Fares
To experience a great day out on our breezer services we recommend you buy a zone C dayrider where you can hop on and off all day and transfer from route to route. These are available for individuals or groups of up to 5 people travelling together.
However, if you are going just there and back all single bus fares are currently reduced to just £2 until 30 June. Check out our fares page for zone maps and prices.
All our buses accept contactless payments and cash, or you can buy tickets via our morebus app as well as tracking buses in live times!
