The Blue Pool Nature Reserve & Tearooms, located in the Furzebrook Estate on the Isle of Purbeck, is a historic and scenic destination.

Originally a clay pit from the 17th century, it became a public attraction in 1935. Visitors can explore 30 acres of nature paths, the UK’s longest rope bridge, and enjoy abundant wildlife. Family-friendly features include a Gnome & Fairy Trail and an adventure play area. The vintage Tearooms offer a range of refreshments and maintain their original charm. Additional amenities include a gift shop and a plant centre.

The bus stops a short walk away from the Blue Pool (at Blue Pool Lane).

You can catch the 30 from Swanage or the 40 from Poole or Swanage directly to the Blue Pool. Use the Journey Planner on our website or app to plan a journey to the Blue Pool today.
