The road here is expected to reopen on Monday 17 February. Note that the section between Alderney West and Here will then be closed for the ongoing road remodelling work. See separate notice.

18 415 703 divert BOTH WAYS at Dorchester Road to Ringwood Road (past Sweet Home Inn) Constitution Hill to Ashley Road.
14 16 17 LEAVING POOLE will divert directly via Ringwood Road missing Constitution Hill and Seaview. Towards Poole correct route.
X6 - not affected.
Buses will observe all stops while on diversion.
Unfortunately we have been left with no other options with the diversion routes, given that we know that there was very vocal opposition to other local roads being clogged by diverted traffic, such as Grove Road, Cranbrook Road and Cynthia Road.
This will be until the end of the junction works, possibly mid February 2025.
